Another for the ‘Flash of Red’ February challenge.

This week sees the flashofred2018 challenge move to 'compositional elements' of photography. My reading on this subject is from this site; very educational.

Today rule #7 - Patterns and Textures using the alloy wheel of the loan car I’m in after mine went poorly last weekend. Taken with my iPhone just after I got back to my weekday accommodation this evening, before the four and a half hour commute home for the weekend (no news as yet as to when mine will be fixed, so I will continue to enjoy this one a bit longer)

I like that you've chosen to capture this vertically instead of horizontally (which is how you see them most of the time). The spokes do a great job of directing you to the emblem. Nice shot!
