Black Over Bill’s Mothers by phil_sandford

Black Over Bill’s Mothers

213 mile journey from Bath to home. 31° When i left Bath and with around 20 miles to go, this is the skyline I was driving into.

With around 3 miles to go, I and about 10 other motorists pulled off the road into a pub carpark and sat out a Thunderstorm from hell. I can safely say that the UK heatwave has broken.

(My 100 litre water butt, empty when I left home last Sunday is almost full)

Sorry for lack of posting/comments etc, work is mental at the moment.
Oh my and didn't it just throw it down

Rain, what's that? Not had a drop so far just lots of cloud to obscure the moon 🙂

Not the pleasantest journey I’m sure! Certainly a very threatening sky!

A very ominous sky , no rain here but clouds to hide the moon !

So glad you were able to find a spot to pull over - driving in one of those torrential downpours is terrifying. This really shows it about to meet you.

Wow, what a great sky! I am on the Isles of Scilly presently and 52mph winds due in the morning and big seas. Waiting for the storm! Hope work settles down for you soon.
