Edro III Sunset by phil_sandford

Edro III Sunset

Sunset over the wreck of the Greek cargo ship, Edro III, which ran aground in October 2011 en-route from Limassol to the Greek island of Rhodes.

She is now a mecca for photographers at sunset and a wonderful sight whilst dining at the most excellent Oniro by the Sea restaurant (where Carole and I dined this evening)

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.

Wow somebody wasn't paying attention. I wonder if the captain lost his job over this? It looks so close to the point.

@skipt07 I’ve not read that the Captain lost his job. Sudden Mediterranean storm blew up and the load shifted I believe. Nonidea why the vessel hasn’t been recovered from where it presently lies (the cargo was removed early on); they seem to be content to let it rot where it is. All very bizarre.

Thank you for the follow.
