Sunflower Gold by phil_sandford

Sunflower Gold

Can never drive past a Sunflower.

On one of my regular commutes down here in the South West, I drive past an Organic Farm. They don’t use pesticides; they grow flowers on the edge of the crop field, the flowers attract the ‘nice bugs’ that will in turn, eat the ‘nasty bugs’ that attack the crop.

I’ve posted on my extras for today, the photo I snapped with my ‘phone as I left one layby ton give you a flavour of what I mean.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
A great idea & such a good photo opportunity! Lovely shot.

Looks beautiful against the blue sky. I love sunflowers too. My Auntie was an artist and she loved painting sunflowers.

I love sunflowers too. I learned the hard way with my volunteer sunflower. I watered it and it did not do good at all. They thrive in neglect.
