William Henry ‘Dusty’ Hare. A true Leicester Tigers, England and British and Irish Lions Rugby legend. The man is the reason, the sole reason, I am a Leicester Tigers Fan !!
Just home after being hosted by the Tigers CEO, Simon Cohen, during the Tigers Worcester match. Simon is aware of my ‘man crush’ on Dusty and brought him along today. A great 5 hours or so, for me and the 6 friends I invited to attend also, to have the opportunity to participate in a ‘no holds barred’ question & answer session with 3 members of the Club’s Board (the guy in the background is the Club’s Head of Rugby Operations, Ged Glyn) I don’t know of any other club (in any sport) where that opportunity would be afforded. It was an incredibly insightful afternoon (and more than made up for the poor result).
