Willingham Robins by phil_sandford

Willingham Robins

Not often you see a pair of Robins this close together. Carole and I went back to Willingham Woods today (again, I forgot to take food) and we stood around the pond hoping the resident robin we saw yesterday would be around. Sure enough, the robin soon appeared and flitted around posing for photogaphs. But, after about 10 minutes or so, he was joined by another (a mating pair perhaps) and we managed to get some shots of them together (not that they stayed on the same tree for long).

Thanks for all of your views, comments and favs on yesterday's offerings
You were certainly quick to get them together!

Well done! You're right, it's unusual to see two so close together.

Lovely capture. They are normally fighting. Perhaps they were building up their strength!
