Unknown Pink Flower

Just back from the rugby; we, Leicester Tigers, are in a dreadful place at the moment. Another good hiding at home (a ground where we went 7 years without losing, a fortress) to today, where we shipped 52 points and now a have a real relegation fight on our hands. Ah well, that’s the vagaries of sport.

A shot from yesterday of this delightful pjnk flower we found at Hartsholme; not a clue what it is.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Lovely shot of the Ribes (flowering currant )- great use of the negative space !

Oh dear! One naturally feels despondent when your home team loses! But the slough of despondency cannot last too long! Very pretty flower stalk against the plain background!
