One of the most common of the Passerine birds in the UK (certainly one the most common in my garden) the Goldfinch, or Carduelis Carduelis to give it its proper name.
This one was taking it’s time in the bushes before darting every now and then to feast on the sunflower hearts. I saw that the Sparrowhawk was around this morning which always makes them skittish.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
