A cold afternoon up at Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast today. It’s the home of a large colony of Grey Seals that congregate there every October, November & December to give birth. I read on a chalk board that since the beginning of October they had recorded over 2,000 births. The United Kingdom has 28% of the world’s Grey Seal population and Donna Nook, together with Blankney Point on the Norfolk coast are two of the biggest breeding colonies.
I was watching this pup for ages; the faces she was pulling were delightful. How could you not love them.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
