Left Robin by phil_sandford

Left Robin

We’ve had a pair of Robins residing in our garden for a number of years. One lives in the holly bush at the rear of the garden on the left hand side, as you look out of the kitchen window and the other lives in the holly bush at the rear of the garden on the right hand side as you look from the kitchen. They yell at each other and occasionally meet in the Maple tree in the middle and have a little spat.

Imagine my surprise on Friday when I saw a third Robin on the middle Maple with both of our residents, well, basically telling him to “GET OUT!!”

They were flitting around the interloper and all photographs I took were blurred; this is our left hand Robin after the interloper had fled taking refuge in the, now bare, lilac.

Thanks for dropping by.
He’s a cutie!
