One the fruits I certainly can not eat; the humble Apple. Not a clue as to why, back in 1995 I suddenly developed an allergy to them, and to other fruit (Kiwis, Cherries, Pears etc), that no doctor has ever explained.(I can eat cooked apples & cherries - go figure)
So, a Granny Smith for today’s rainbow challenge (and the apple will make its way into work where I’m sure somebody will eat it)

The proteins get broken down by the heat and cooking process and so they don’t look the same to your body and it won’t identify them as allergens. Gorgeous image. The water makes it so appealing.
That's one strange allergy - won't sure limit my eating! But you really made an excellent still life from the apple - love the water droplets. Great on black
