We have a lodger this week in Leah. Her school have sent 3 entire years home to isolate as somebody may have tested positive. Unless Leah comes to us, our Daughter cannot take her eldest to school (Leah is not allowed to be near the school and is too young to be left at home alone) and Fiona would also not be able to work.
We bought Lucy & Leah Harty Potter drink bottles and Leah suggested hers would be a good subject for today’s yellow.
Now then, on to ‘contractions’ in English comprehension (damned sure I wasn’t learning this at 7).
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
I can still remember starting at Ringshall Primary as a 5 year old, being petrified of Comprehension (I only learnt correct use of the apostrophe in 2001 in the office of Capt Bryony Bryan whilst on deployment in Bosnia after saying I didn’t understand them. She wiped her ORBAT off the white board and gave me a 3 hour, one on one, lesson in all the ways an apostrophe was used (and tested me a fortnight later))
Welcome to the world of home schooling - oh how things have changed since we were in school (even since I retired from teaching!) Don't envy poor parents wading through this with kids not old enough to grasp it.
