This is not the best lighting in the world but I feel really happy that I got the shot at all ... fear... alligators can run at 20 miles an hour but only in short burst of speed... he appears to be watching me closely

Sybil, We left just as the heat wave was started. A day or two before we left a golfer was attacked somewhere in Florida and nearly lost his leg. No picture (or golf ball) is worth that!

that is such a cool shot. He must have kept incredibly still .. not a ripple in the water ... Yep, he had his eye on you for sure !

Incredible shot. If you have microsoft office picture manage you can open a photo in it and go to picture and then to brightness and contrast and then to midtones and move the slider to lighten a shot like this which gives it a little more detail.

I had always heard they go 60 mph, so I'm a bit relieved to hear it's "only" 20....LOL! Cool shot!
