I was back at the nature reserve again today, these little chaps are always there to greet you. this one was being fed by another, so not sure if it is a chick or part of a mating ritual. taken late afternoon so light was low but i like the shadow of his beak on his chest
Both these robin shots are lovely but I slightly prefer this one for the colour and lighting and, yes, the shadow of his beak. I like the fragility of his little legs against the nasty barbed wire. Glad he missed it - two favs if I could but alas only one is possible!
