I know its been a while since I've posted a photo. I became increasingly uninspired for a bit with photography. Maybe it was that I'd focused so much on it for over a year and I needed a break. And the new job - while truly rewarding has been a focus that involved a lot of my energy, leaving little left over for art.
Last night we had dinner with my parents - one of whom is Mary- who is an avid 365'r. She was taking photos and showing me some of the photos on the popular page and it got me missing you all.
So this afternoon, my husband and I were sitting in the back yard enjoying the last bit of the day together and the sun was hitting this Elephant Ear leaf and I was just inspired to take a photo of it. It felt good to feel that "that's a great shot" feeling again.
I can't guarantee I will post daily like I had even. But I vow to honor the inspiration when it hits.
