Pink

My husband took this photo three years ago when we did the Komen Walk in Houston. It was a crazy day - raining with 30,000 people walking and running. I'm glad we did it even though the weather was nasty. I wish I had realized my son was in this pic because I would have picked him up and held him closer, but he was darting around like a six year old does and looks apart from the group. He was, however, a big part of the day and my motivation to be healthy. I wish the photo reflected that better.
your words....and your heart reflect that!

BC Awareness day - thanks for sharing ! just heard today that my friend and colleague who runs the baby clinic at my office has breast cancer - am feeling quite stunned at how wide spread this disease is . yet heartened at the fabulous women who fight it!
Remember the post I put up for a client of mine, saw her today , and although she is bald and on her 4th chemo she is a light and inspiration XXX

My sister in law had her breast removed 3 years ago and is now fighting cancer again in her hip. In Australia the Cancer Council hold a similar event called "Relay For Life" and we support it every year.

Keep up your spirits and the good work. I walk for Race for the Cure of Central Virginia every year in honor of my mother and too many friends to mention. Participating goes a long way toward not feeling so helpless in the face of this disease.

What's left to say...strength, hope, courage...it takes all of that and then a little help from above. If you have time, stop by my project...there's a little message for you there.
