departing agapanthus by pistache

departing agapanthus

she's largely over and done with, but i'm leaving her seed head for architectural purposes, and she looked quite photogenic (in my view) waving in the breeze against a lensbaby background bokeh of verbena, hydrangeas and dahlias
Interesting lines behind the flower stem - a bit of ICM as well as lovely bokeh!

you created such a beautiful backdrop for this lonesome seed head. Most attractive.

Well find and lovely background.

Agapanthus look marvellous regardless of the time of their life. We have lots in our garden, but it will be a while yet before they flower.

I also love taking pics of old agapanthus, their structure is amazing. Love the background here too!

There is a kind of cringe feel of this flower, The background steal the show.

Great effect and a Fav

The seeds are somewhat angular; the background bokeh is round. I like that contrast
