the bloom formerly known as cornflower by pistache

the bloom formerly known as cornflower

picked this last week and was then away for the weekend. by the time i returned the little posy of cornflowers, astrantia and dahlias was water-less and getting quite crispy. but i like a crispy, wilting flower, so i got cracking with the velvet 56 and a texture or two
Lovely image with a painterly look

PS... I have said this before, but your watermarking is so elegant and delicate. Lovely.

You do great work with spent flowers Clare...this one is no exception. You capture the fragility of life with them.
