the magnolias are out in southwest france. i do love their blooms but fear for them as their delicate flowers are so prone to being on the receiving end of rain and wind. after sunshine yesterday we had rain during a long leisurely lunch but came out of the restaurant to more sunshine. the establishment was full of french families of several generations having similarly lengthy repasts with lots of small children who sat patiently eating, drinking and talking
Beautiful and dreamy. Glad you captured them while you could. Once the flowers are gone you can still enjoy them through this photo.

This is a creative angle. It has such a short period of bloom, but so beautiful.

I hope they last awhile. But you have immortalized it. Lovely shot.

That is just how I picture France to be. Eating is a very serious business and not to be taken lightly. Loving this pink floral display. I hope there isn't too much blowing around of the leaves - I found one in my garden this afternoon and I have no idea where the nearest magnolia bush is.

Distressingly pretty - I'm pleased I saw this in the morning and not right before bed

Love the colour and fantastic dof. Took almost the same shot this morning but wasn’t not nearly as colourful. Glad I didn’t use it, I would have hung my head in shame.

Oh how pretty- and the day sounds delightful. I had to smile though- I don't see too many children in the US just sitting and eating at restaurants- they usually want to leave the second they've finished their food! Lovely shot!

What a great composition. One of the most creative and lovely Magnolia shots I have seen. Fav. Lucky you, travelling to France this time of year.

A lovely capture. Unfortunately Magnolia blossom 🌸 doesn't last long, especially in windy weather

I love these magnolias. We have two trees in our backyard but one is thriving and covered from head to toe in blooms and the other one is suffering with only a few blooms. I have taken 387 photos of my blossom-full magnolia tree. Beautiful fav.
