on a drive home from visiting my mother for the weekend i was heading north from the m4 and chasing a sunset. there's a lovely viewing point off the main road when i'm nearly home, and i raced in there to capture this with the 12-40mm. then cropped it square for the half and half. you're looking towards gloucester from cheltenham, should you wish to know :)

decided that, after five-and-a-half years on this fabulous site, I should say a little more about myself than the two sentences...
@rjb71 thank you - i am highly flattered since i am in awe of your landscapes. you make a very good point re light trails - will give it a go as soon as i can :)
@pistache Thanks although I never think my landscapes are that good! Self doubt and all that.. I can imagine that a snaking light trail will look great in this scene though. Please tag me if you do it so I don't miss it :)
