an attempt at a high-key still-life for the latest technique challenge. no greengages were eaten in the creation of this image. afterwards though ... i love that they're called reines claudes in french ... they are absolutely delicious fresh, and also in jam. i did some faffing along the lines of the links that vikki @summerfield helpfully provided for the challenge. not sure if i want more depth in the background fruit and dish though ... and i don't want the shadow in the foreground greengage, but i found it too difficult to remove

decided that, after five-and-a-half years on this fabulous site, I should say a little more about myself than the two sentences...
