... is one of my favourite things ... the promise of the day, discovering what might be new in the flower beds, checking on the vegetable seeds in the new raised beds, holding my face to the still-gentle sun, savouring the coffee and a piece of freshly-made bread. this is all often disturbed by the urge to get my camera out, natch, but that's fine too. here the sweet 35 came to the fore after a period of time in the cupboard. my first lensbaby, and i do love her

I am picturing this as the empty chair that you abandoned to go and fetch your camera. An enjoyable accompaniment to your script. How fortunate we are to be able to breakfast in the garden in May - accompanied by a bit of pottering and checking up on things.
