i've always been moved by the longing in this song, and all the more in this year of being deprived of family and friends. i was trying to create a fairly simple, spare image, and took as my background one of the landscape shots i took yesterday on our bright, sunny walk ;)
update september 2020 ...
decided that, after five-and-a-half years on this fabulous site, I should say a little more about myself than the two sentences...
I really liked that song- which made me want to see a person walking toward the house in this shot which then made me think of some of the entries from this competition so I thought I'd share the link (and yes, one of my composites is in there but I don't remember which gallery- I think it's no. 3). Anyway! as always- I love your composite work! http://www.pacenterforphotography.org/transformations-2020-main-page/
@olivetreeann thank you ann for your kind comment and also so much for the link - some wonderful work there! i haven't come across yet but will keep searching - congratulations on being part of that excellent body of work ;)
@pistache Mine is called "Message in a Bottle"- it's the one of my granddaughter Lucy in a bottle at the seashore. I think it's in gallery no. 3 but I haven't had a chance to double check.
@olivetreeann it's in number two - and such a good image, ann! i would heartily recommend anyone who likes composite or fine art images to have a look at ann's link above - a real treat
