making the call

feel an urge to get back into some self-portraits as well as double exposures and various other things. this is another room from the atmospheric old house i visited in charleston in november 2019, when i was under the misapprehension that i would still have at least another twelve months of mr g travelling regularly to washington dc and me being able to accompany him ... we were just so sad to see the events this week ... i'm glad that we made the very best of our times there (including a trip to a conference in charleston) and i'm so fortunate to have got to know dc pretty well during my visits. the lovely old telephone wasn't in the charleston room, but when i photographed it on a visit to a stately home with my mother a while back, i knew it was going to end up there ;)
I really love your approach to composites... they are so creative and unique!

Great composite

Well done- all these elements, though from different places and times, work perfectly together.

Your talent for composites shines here. I’m intrigued by your ensemble, and that wall phone. Because of cell phones all the pay phones in America have been removed! I have always loved Washington DC, I have to believe it will recover, it must!

Super composite! I had the pleasure of living in DC for a year right out of college. Before covid we got down to that area regularly as our kids and grands live in Virginia and Maryland.

Another winner from the Queen of Composites... I wouldn't have a clue how to do something like this!
