Taking a break by pistonbroke

Taking a break

Another attempt at some "street" photography. Not so discreet, this time, I only had the DSLR with me, but managed to conceal myself enough not to be noticed. This market trader is taking a well-earned break. Tried to get a "cross-processed" effect on this one
I don't know what "cross-processing" is, but I like this, particularly the arch with the silhouetted pair.

@aecasey Cross-processing was a darkroom trick we used years ago. If you processed C41 film in the wrong chemistry you could get a different effect. Thes days there is a color Efex filter that does much the same thing

Nicely captured --such a casual pose . Love the lighting on his back -yet illuminating his face . Great variations of colour tones and textures and the way you have captured the leading lines from darkness to the source of light at the far end --A fav

Street photography is my 'thing' so really interesting to see this one...always lots to look at in street photography but you need a bit of bottle! This is a great example Pete.

A great street shot, and I really like the processing. Lots to look at besides the main figure.
