Sculpture No. 3 by pistonbroke

Sculpture No. 3

My sculpture month continues with this large bronze by Henry Moore. By the middle of the 20th century Moore had become Britain's most famous living sculptor. He relaxed by watching sheep grazing on farmland near his house, and came to an arrangement with the landowner that allowed him to display some of his largest pieces there. The sheep obviously enjoy them, too. Moore died in the 1980s but his legacy lives on
Lovely juxtaposition

Not really into modern art but I like the curves on this. The sheep add an extra dimension & another contrast!
