Sculpture No.8

For the next shot in my sculpture month, I’ve featured another Henry Moore piece. “Large reclining figure in Spring” is a massive bronze, nearly 10 metres wide. The original was a commissioned piece. Moore liked it so much that he made a second one, and it was installed here, on a small hill created by quarry workings near his studio in Perry Green
Cool shot. I like that you have captured this one from a distance, it gives a sense of the size of it!

I like the sheep in the foreground! Makes the sculpture look like a reclining shepherd.

Great find -- so the shepherdess is finding time to sunbathe !! The sheep in the mid-foreground really shows it's size !

I never knew there were so many different sculptures around the place ......you have picked a winner in that theme....I like to see them too? This one looks a little unusual!

Very nice, do you have a close up of it? You will like the wooden chain-saw sculptures in the Swiss garden. They're all new and quite spectacular.
