I’ve featured this sculpture by Henry Moore before, on 7th August, shot at a distance from the front, but it’s such a powerful form that I’m now presenting another angle, where it looks completely different. “Large Reclining Figure” is a piece I can return to again and again without tiring of it. A huge bronze, some 10 metres wide, it was made in 1984, just 2 years before Moore’s death. It looks dramatic on black. Note the appreciative magpie taking a rest on the foot! No. 58 in my sculpture series - just 3 more to go, folks
