Beachfront cafe by pistonbroke

Beachfront cafe

I posted the interior of a cafe in Broadstairs on the 5th. This is the same place, only shot from a different angle. @will_wooderson was curious to know where it was, so it might be more recognisable here. This side looks a bit ramshackle, but it faces out to sea and takes a battering from the weather. As you can see, it's right on the beach
The stairs don't seem to lead to anything.

a small window to order through and yes a definite battering from the weather - I like it - thanks for sharing

A nicely composed shot of a building that was once an essential part of the British holiday experience!

A shot of yesteryear. This is what seasides used to look like.

So typical of English seaside resorts - amazing these places survive. Good composition.

It looks all closed up and forlorn in the winter.

Typical of a seaside town now past its best but still struggling on. Worth recording for posterity.

Adore ramshackle (what a great word that is) seaside buildings.

Ah yes, I do know this one, thank you Pete. I've bought drinks from the window but not been inside, about time I did!
