Los Alamos, California

We did a little exploring in this cool little town not too far from home. Those squishy pumpkins kind of rock this joint, no?

For you processing geeks out there, this image was made to look like an HDR, but it isn't. A good part of my secret sauce here is a program called Topaz Adjust (HIGHLY recommended software, and a darn good price too--we use the whole suite and it's very very good). I did several layers of different effects (sharpening, dodging, burning), and as usual selectively painted them in using layer masks.

Oh yeah, the flare is NOT done in post...it's something that my little Olympus Pen camera does often when shooting into the sun, and i think it is quite lovely.

Peace and love in the coming year to each of you.
It's truly amazing how different processing can make pretty much exactly the same shot look so different. Yours came out super uhber coolio, H!!!
