2016 06 16 - New Kingfisher

The weather forecast improved and I had been given details of a potential new site for kingfisher spotting. So contacted my kingfisher partner in crime @padlock and persuaded him to hobble onto a train to Bedford from where I collected him to take him to a Reserve near Coventry. Very thrilled to have got this shot, spent so much time with this kingfisher I stopped photographing him and just watched....Have to say, I think my shot has come a close second to Clive's .... grrr! but its good to have someone to complete with
You must learn from each other and thats good with friends with the same interests! Super shot - his breast is almost rust coloured! fav

@sminersphotos Hi Sarah, beginners luck I guess and an a long time sitting still. Think Padlock and I are pretty tuned into their call and their flight path so tend to spot them
