want vs need

Last night was a night out, a fun night out. A little too fun for two of my friends. As they were each loaded into their own taxi home, I was charged with the care of their respective cameras and ended up taking the devices home with me.

As usual, study is always at the back of my mind, so instead of doing it in the foreground, it just hangs around in the background. Oh, the joys of being a student.
