She looks nothing like my Nana, yet she instantly reminds me of my nana. They sit and look so natural, as they are /were and no need for douing hair or makeup. Just beauty from within. Oh I miss my nana she was 81. I hope you see your Nonno often.

I was brought back here because of the 'who are you' thread...I remember really liking this, but for some reason, it looks like I never commented. This is a truly excellent protrait for so many reasons. It looks like you captured the essence of this beautiful woman, and I absolutely LOVE the background. It may or may not be her kitchen, but as I look at the photo, I feel like I can see a glimpse into her life.
