January 17th, 2011
Amazing close up! Were you able to get really close to the bird or did you have a telephoto lens?
January 17th, 2011
@poggy1818 Telephoto :) 55-250mm
January 17th, 2011
@pocketmouse -- Very cool! I need to get myself one of those! :-P
January 17th, 2011
wow! awesomeness!
January 17th, 2011
@pocketmouse I love the details and how it was done in black and white! though in my opinion this was cropped too tight. :D another suggestion for composition is framing the whole body of the bird (if not, almost full) to show its "greatness and gorgeousness" :D
January 17th, 2011
@marvzz ~ I was using my lens at 250mm and unfortunately the framing tends to be tight with that lens (I didn't crop this) but I couldn't have gotten this shot if I was any closer, if that makes sense.
January 17th, 2011
simply amazing... good job!
January 17th, 2011
@pocketmouse I get what you mean :) something like u wont get this kind of detail if not for the 250mm focal length? well i think i got your point. but overall this was nicely done. :)
January 17th, 2011
@marvzz Yeah :) that's what I meant. :) Unfortunately the best of both worlds can't be had (at least not until I learn more about photography :D)
January 17th, 2011

January 17th, 2011
Great shot

I am also glad to hear that I am not the only one who struggles to frame a picture perfectly without editing but 365's interaction is helping me get better at this!
