@100summits Thanks! :) in photoshop: upped contrast a bit, adjusted colour balance a bit, and added a dark blue Screen layer and flesh-coloured Multiply layer :)
Oh my!! Your photo last week of Simba looking out the window was my fave fave of the week........this might just be this week's!! How gorgeous is this!? A fave!
I edit each photo a little differently, manually in photoshop cs3 (i.e. I don't apply the same action/filter each time).
Generally, I adjust contrast and colour balance until I'm happy, then I add a dark-blue-ish Screen layer, and a flesh-coloured Multiply layer. If the pic needs it, I duplicate one or both of these, and play with the layer colours until it looks right to me. It's the Screen layer that really lightens the photo and makes the darks not so dark.
