Today I played with the camera settings challenge, 1/200. Unfortunately, I picked the exact wrong time of day, so the lighting is terrible. This one achieved the effect best, though, I think, because I kept the main subjects in focus while everything else is in motion. I will see if I can try again tomorrow at a better time of day.
I think it turned out quite well! The colors are very nice, and your subject is very clear! I used to ride and show jumpers, oh do I miss that !! Well done!
Found the pic via csc. Even with 1/200s some motion blur. Indeed would be nice if you have the opportunity to redo this in less harsh sunlight. But still nice shot! And though I know 1/200s is the challenge, I would like to see a 1/50s also because of even better speed effect.
@djepie Thank you! After I spent some time looking through my photos from this day, I thought the same thing. I'd like to try it with an even slower shutter speed to try and get a bit more blur, but still keep the subject in focus. I'll give 1/50 a try sometime.
