It was the Seahawks Superbowl Victory Parade in downtown Seattle. Over 700,000 people attended - definitely a historical day for the state of Washington. This little girl and boy were patiently waiting in their strollers, then got up and put their arms around each other when the parade started. Totally blocked my view but I thought it was still very sweet :-). We also had a whole bunch of kids around us with their teachers. What a fun (and cold!) day to be with almost everybody in the city!
@annied great to see everyone in the city celebrating! My son and his friends (they were in a different area since they did not want to be seen with their moms) were shown in the TV news broadcast. They were so close to the parade so he got better photos of the team.
