Thankyou all so much for the gracious comments and encouragement you have left on this week's line series. I found it really tough and tbh only one out of all the pics I uploaded I considered was a decent shot in its own right. Ideas in my head didn't translate too well to the screen and I'm relieved it's now over :o) Next week is B&W shapes.
Catching up will definitely happen this evening :o)
My 3 positive things for today
1. I am feeling very positive about getting the experimental report part of my assignment written today (1 part done 2 to go!)
2. I will once again be cooked for this evening...always a plus
3. I will edit #3 and fill it in once I've had more of the day :o)
EDIT- I almost completed the write up for my experiment...just have to actually 'do' it now so I have some data to test!
very clever - and well done, you've done a great job in creating this line it's made a good thumbnail challenge. And damn, I forgot to put three positive things on my photo, again
I know what you mean about being relieved that part of a challenge is over... I have found that this week with the 30 second challenge. I feel my shots have been rushed and hasty and look very 'Japanese tourise'...(sorry to any fellow Japanese 365ers out there!!) Well done for persevering though, and I think everything we do teaches us something, even if it is only 'let's not go there again...!'
Great idea and brilliant ending to your line :) It's tricky to focus on the big picture rather than the individual shots for this challenge (I went off track most weeks!) but your calendar view looks stunning! Have fun with the shapes!
Great end to the line! I think your shots have been amazing and very creative. it can't have been an easy job! I might try this challenge sometime... after my current alphabet challenge perhaps.
@pfmandeville@lwain@sassik The only one I really like is the dragon on the washing line shot. Obviously I like my son's GCSE results shot for what it represents but I don't think the shot is actually up to much :o) xx
@lakruijf This isn't my idea actually :o) Some friends started this challenge last month and I was too late so decided to do it for August instead. Here's the original discussion
@lakruijf No problem with you using any of my ideas btw :o) Keep an eye out for other monthly challenges @alia_801 started the July thumbnail challenge and I believe she is starting a new one for September. I'm sure she'll lead you to it if you'd like to join in xx
Lisa, I'm trying to catch up after being with many relatives. This is beautiful and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your lines! When I saw "Finis" I thought your 365 project was over and I felt horribly! Glad it's not. Good luck with finishing your report!
@ptowncook Hehe Laura :o) I can't see a point at which I'll stop posting. It's as habitual to me now as cleaning my teeth :o) I am going to employ youngest son as a participant in my experiment today so hopefully I'll manage to get it all written up by this evening. Thanks for your encouragement xx
This is wonderful! I love the textures (and the creativity) of this shot. And your line is fab - I keep thinking I wouldn't be able to make it stay "in one place" in the thumbnails. :D Great job!
I wonder which was the only decent one :)
Do you mind if i copy some of your ideas?

Good luck with the experiment too :D
I LOVE the textures in this shot!! this looks really awesome!
