This week's task in the July (yes, I know! I'm only a month late!) thumbnail challenge is B&W shapes. I've decided to use different shaped flowers for my shapes and hopefully the shots will work. I have taken B&W flower shots before but I'm not sure whether I'm keen or not.
My 3 positive things today
1. My bedding has been washed and is currently in the tumble drier...there's nothing like clean sheets on the bed :o)
2. It's Bank Holiday Monday so hubby's off work today
3. Hubby has cleaned our bedroom and as he's much taller than me (I'm 5'2" and he's 6'5") he was able to reach all the cobwebs I couldn't
@megsy I agree. This week's challenge is B&W shapes so I feel compelled to not break the rules ;o) but I do prefer the colour one. How's the revision going? I hope your headache's gone now. Try rubbing lavender oil into your temples, it might ease it a bit xx
This is going to be an exciting challenge! I can't wait to see all of your flower shots. I agree with you that there is nothing nicer than fresh sheets on the bed. That is my Saturday treat for the family.
Scratch that last comment. After first glance thought it was the shadow of the calla lily then though how would you get two shadows like that from a single flower. Great shot nonetheless.
I can't decided between the two shots. They both appeal to me in different ways.
