Obviously, I can take responsibility for only half of this photo. I leave it up to you to decide which half! Took this during my 5 hours layover in Rome's airport. It was like a high end shopping mall in there. Terrible. Spent too much money on some fancy perfume.
Seems like a jarring return to the 'real' world - the wait, the airport mall and those teeth that look about to chomp off this man's head. I'm sure the perfume is lovely though :)
I missed this one ... I remember when we landed in Italy the first time ... there were guards actually walking around with machine guns. (slung over their shoulder!) I was stunned to see that ... don't know if they do that anymore, Laura. This image instantly brought back that memory. My first move was to reach out and grab my two daughters. :) I love this photo tho ... that poster and the guard (?) are such contrasts.
@karenann No, he wasn't a guard. He was some poor random guy in sneakers! And there weren't any armed guards. It was all very laid back. So much better experience. For some reason, those armed guards in Europe look much scarier than ours, don't they?
@cindyrez I've been looking for one that I can bear wearing for years! They usually make me sick. Yes, unfortunately--given the cost--I do like this perfume. Versace Yellow Diamond. Very light. Golly, this feels like such girl talk!
