We were up early to see the balloons launch for the festival today and for the first time we went out on the water for it. It was a perfect day, couldn't have been better and we were able to follow the balloons that were drifting down the lake. This balloon was obviously practicing its accuracy on landing between the trees and that is Wylie 2 on the surf ski.
@jamibann@gilbertwood@365projectorgjenfurj@777margo@joansmor thanks ladies, fortunately I don't think any actually landed in the water though some were very clever and hovered on the surface. @gigiflower thanks Sam, it was a wonderfully colourful event @ellida It certainly was Graham and a beautiful morning for it @bella_ss@sangwann@dide I think you could be right, I suspect that this tight landing in the trees was not exactly intentional and was probably very difficult to take it down without damage! @dide@onewing@louannwarren thanks all, the colour and the reflections were great even though a lot of my focus was to not fall off the surf ski!
@louannwarren Hi Lou Ann, I had to reload today's (Tuesday) picture at a smaller size to get it to reliably load. Sadly I lost your lovely comment and fav. Thx for the headsup on the date too.
