I freaking LOVE these birds! When I was in Bourke earlier this year a flock flew over and I just stopped in my tracks staring up at them in awe, while everyone else walked and talked on oblivious.
I get the yellow-tailed ones here at certain times of the year.

They certainly are magnificent birds. It was an absolute treat to see a big flock of them in the wheatbelt a couple of weeks ago. I've only seen your yellow tailed from blacks from a distance.
