bush pano by pusspup

bush pano

Its difficult to communicate the feeling in the burnt bush through a single photo. Hopefully this pano will give you a small idea of the emptiness of what was a vibrant bush landscape. This patch must have burnt very hot, as not much is springing back after all these months.
BOB
Hopefully will regrow with time

Good to see green on the ground

Terrible to see such deviation and must be heartbreaking for you having seen it in its glory. I see the green is returning on the ground, the start of the rejuvenation

It happens so often yet the devastation is difficult! So dry!

Such a lovely touch of green returning.

You did a great job with the pano and you have captured the devastation very well. So sad to see this; hoping they will grow again into more beautiful trees.

I can see the green coming back... even though it is bleak it is hopeful.

It is heartbreaking. We had a fire here in the wetlands close to where I live years ago and the bushland has still not returned because the fire was so intense. So sad. That fire was started by a group of teenagers letting off fireworks on New Years Eve from one of the nearby houses.

Great capture but as Babs says, quite heartbreaking. I sure hope it will recover.

Such an interesting shot but makes me sad about the burning.

Indeed...This is a sad look of what fires can do to trees.

you always do the best gum tree shots

Amazing pano and only something heartbreaking. The forest will recover, only it needs time. And we don't give him that time.

It seems some brush and trees take a while to come back, but come back they will or something to take their place. Be patient.

I think it is very hard to really show devastation in one photo. I do hope things start to spring back soon.

A fabulous depiction - the vertical starkness says it all. :)
