Galantus nivalis .Spring by pyrrhula

Galantus nivalis .Spring

This are the first Galantus I see this year (To day) In our country they are the symbol of spring to come. We call them
``Sneeuwklokjes`` ( snowbells ) They are growing / flowering as soon as snow has gone.
I have to share it.
Beautiful! :) I can't wait to see the bulbs come up here (it's going to be a while).

I've never seen these flowers. Very pretty! We have buttercups or daffodils that bloom in the spring. They are usually yellow or white. Your snowbells are beautiful!

Lovely, it is so nice to see them poking their heads up isn't it, ours are up too but not very tall yet. Here in France they are called 'perce-neige' ---pierce snow, which is an apt name too.

Pyrrhula, I love the name Sneeuwklokjes. So much prettier than snowbells. I have these in my front yard and will remember your name. I which I could hear it pronounced. I'll do my best. :-)

So delicate and pretty, and their little green leaves are so refreshing too. I don't think that we have these around the states where I live. Thank you for sharing!

How lovely. Yes, so delicate and pretty. I call these snowdrops. Such a nice spring flower. It will be so good to see these when Spring arrives in my part of the world.

"Snøklokker" already! Must be lovely! We have to wait at least a month, maybe two months before we see them.

Ik vind ze altijd zo mooi en vrolijk! Helaas heb ik ze hier nog niet gezien, maar misschien moet ik beter zoeken...
Thanks for posting these signs of spring!

What an encouraging and pretty sight! The ivy in the background looks very much like some that I have as a houseplant.
