All good things come by 3 is a saying our country. so here my third pic. of a yellow spring flower . This is a flower of a very ordinairy bush a Forsythia.

@roejan I've not tried this but apparently cut in bud they come out more white which sounds charming. have you tried this before?

@june It's been a couple years since I've done it, but I just cut some today. I don't remember them ever coming out whitish, but perhaps slightly paler.
