The only sign of life are the birds. wonderful picture Purrhula..that's the way some of our fields look like too depending on which side they are. some get more sun and the snow is melting.

Well it may be cold, but the snow has produced a wonderful landscape. Love your composition with the whirling birds, the line of trees framing one side of the field and the rest open as far as the eye can see. Even the clouds look snowy! Fav!

Beautiful shot of this unending expanse of land almost all covered with snow. Climate change has made havoc of weather all over the world. Our Winter was one of the mildest I can remember.
