Agrostemma by pyrrhula

Agrostemma

Believe me , when I was taken this pic. I never have seen this flower before. Even did n`t know the name . Sometimes we `ve good luck. . I was nearly finish taken my pic.`s the farmer and his wife returns home from a walk , so I could ask him. I also ask how is the deal with the firm it`s grow for. He told me, he gets the seeds free and an agreement for the size of the field . He grows and harvest it and make a first cleaning. Than it goes back to the firm, get a second and good cleaning and he will be paid by the weight and quality of the seeds. So the risk of nature is his.
A lovely fields of this flower - like your inserts!

Interesting to find out how it all works. their is always risk involved with farming if for your own or for a company. I hope he had a good weight when all is done so his pocket book is filled with the right amount for his love of flowers and his work.

I'm so glad you were able to interview the farmer; that's fascinating! It's always so interesting to learn how people earn a living. I really like that you were able to close in on the individual blossom as you did and still show us the field. Gorgeous!

Wonderful. What a great idea for presenting this new flower to us - zooming in that is. Glad you met that farmer and we're able to share the information with us. I have never really stopped to think what is involved in producing my little packets of seed. Thanks for sharing.
