40 % of the area I live in is water, : by lakes, a river estuary and sea inlets. There is a big deal of water sports, and a great sea fish, mussels, lobsters and oyster trade . Here a view on the lake ``Veerse meer``. A closed, former, sea inlet. The entrance is a lock by the (open)bridge .
Funny how we're raised as children with the images of a little Dutch boy holding back the water with his finger in the dike. Then today, it seems something of a surprise to learn how much of your area actually IS water! Lucky you (like me) to have all the wonderful sea food! And beautiful water scenes to photograph!
