Young John is a flour mill in Serooskerke . The mill was in 1835 built to replace an old mill and has until 1963 been in operation, and the mill was converted to grind with a diesel engine. Also, there were built in silos. In 1984, the mill was sold to a private individual who had to move the mill and restoration. While there are also two new chairs times posted. The mill and the nearby restaurant in 2011 sold to the brothers Frank and Arjan Caljouw that Young John spins almost daily. At the bottom of the grinder is a small shop located mill, which are sold alongside local cereal too. From the terrace and the playground at the restaurant one has a good view of the mill, which was painted in bright colors until 2005, but since then has been colorfully painted. Young John served occasionally grain voluntarily. During the opening hours of the restaurant is to visit the mill.
The mill is also known under the name "Hope", but now the old name is again the official name
