I think we call these beautiful flowers (yours photographed so softly) Narcissus. Our daffodils are a bright yellow. I should not stand to correct you, Ferry, as your country excels in raising flowers, and you have a beautiful garden. (And now I have to laugh that I have a back yard with little but dirt, so assume I know *nothing* about flowers!
@sangwann No, normally we leave them in the ground and they bloom year after year and even with more flowers. The only thing I can think of : you have to let grow the leafs after bloom till they have withered leaves by them self`s. Maybe you climate is to dry for it.
What a beautiful daffodil. Love your photo, the colors and detail. So very few daffodils here this year due to warm and dry weather. I love the pale yellow. FAV
